Congratulations to Deborah George of Great Falls, Virginia, on the purchase of Hollywood Bound (Icy Adonis - ASF Consiva) from Sonya Hardin, also of Great Falls, Virginia. We wish them great success. "Woody's" brother Harbor Lights, and his half brother, Conway (Apollo's Fire - ASF Consiva) are on our sales page, and his full brother Simon is shown below, having been sold to Ron Kennedy.

Late last year Wrightwood Farm's Step-N-Out (1999 bay mare by Apollo's Fire out of Monarch's Honey) was sent to trainer Ron Kennedy at Kennedy Farms in Anaheim Hills, California, and has returned to the show ring. She went right into the A show circuit to be Baby Green Champion at the LAEC Winter Horse Show where she received two firsts and a second over fences, and won the hack. Watch for her as she begins her Pre-Green career. Her sister, the elegant Sophie (2001), and her niece, Maya (by Apollo's Fire and out of Little Honey, Step N Out's half-sister) are for sale.

Last year Briollette (2000 grey mare by Icy Adonis out of Backdraft) was purchased by Sally Jackson of Clovis, California.  Recently we received this note from Sally about Briollette's first show:

"We took her to a schooling show here for experience, and she actually showed today for the very first time she  cantered a  course at 2'6. Guess what--she won her first class and was third in  her  second class and won her third class with her trainer, Amy Bissell, against made horses. Amy loves her and she even gave Amy lead changes-- we just started them last week. Soooo impressive---------people want to know all about her!!! I LOVE HER!!!!!!"

Sadly, we lost Backdraft at an early age. We do, however, still have Sheila, her grey 2001 filly, a full sister to Briollette.

It seems that the rumor that 3 year old IHF champions can't hold up for the long haul might not apply to ALL IHF champions. Zephyrus (1993 grey gelding by Oklahoma Bound out of Tangerine) is still showing, still competitive and still loving it. For the last three years he's belonged to Brittany Simpson of Westlake Village, California, and the pair train with Nancy Turrill at Foxfield. Zephyrus' full brother is Apollo's Fire, one of our stallions whose progeny is doing well in the show ring now.

Congratulations to Ron Kennedy on the purchase of Simon (2002 bay gelding by Icy Adonis our of ASF Consiva,by Valley's Rounder)! We know they're going to be a super team! Simon's siblings for sale are Harley, a 2001 grey gelding, and Cameo, a yearling filly.
